Lady Death: Revelations

line art from my Coffin Comics Lady Death revelations #1 foil edition cover. I decided to go with a viking barbarian death dealer theme for this piece complete with loose nordic tribal tattoos on her body.  Within the tattoos are the viking rune for Hel, the norse death goddess.  Sort of a simpler design it was a little bit of a journey to actually get the piece onto paper.  lots of erasing and fine tuning with this one.  I knew what i wanted to do with the final colors, but getting it to my usual standard level was, challenging.  it happens.  just gotta push through it!
